WHEN: 7pm-9pm Monday 28th March 2011,
WHERE: El Rocco, 154 Brougham St, Kings Cross (off William Street opposite O’Malley’s Pub).
COST: $10 at the door gets you the show, plus a drink (wine, beer or soft).

Name change: After two rip-roaring years we’ve decided to change our name from “Writers Anonymous” to “Script-in-Hand” which better reflects what we do, as well as our membership of actors, directors, writers, designers, techies and theatre-goers. Our meeting this month consists of six brand new pieces of writing that are having their first moved, public reading.

As usual, a clutch of wonderful actors under the guidance of six talented directors will entertain us while six brave writers will writhe in torment as their newborn scripts jump from the page onto the stage. Will we laugh or cry when we’re supposed to, or just groan mercilessly? This is crunch time for the scripts; they either shine or fail – you decide. Come along and give your support to some new faces in the membership as well as our regulars. It’ll be another great evening.

So, here’s the line-up of your readings for Monday 28th March 2011, starting at 7pm sharp.
